The painting is torn. It cannot be repaired without leaving a mark.

The same is true of the species on the verge of extinction. We as humanity still have a chance to put together the pieces of fading life. Yes, scars will remain, marks on fur, shells, chitin and skin, but life will go on. This is the main focus of my collection of torn paintings they are about preserving a lives that have been torn.
